Being in hospital can be a difficult, bewildering and often scary experience for anyone – and particularly for children.  We believe that we should make it as comfortable and relaxing as possible and are working to create the very best healing environment for children, right here in Birmingham. It's a simple fact is that children get better more quickly in an environment they like and even enjoy.

We are very grateful to those who bring toys and gifts for the children but because of the necessity to fight against infections, we have very strict rules on what we are able to receive. In particular, we can not accept second hand toys, nor cuddly toys. We do have examples of what we can receive - download the guidelines here.
